Up extremely early because Ed had to catch his flight getting up at 4:30.
But I managed to get back to catch much need beauty rest. Gotta look good for the public now at my new job. I'm ready to take on my new role and I'll try not to become one of those annoying ladies yelling out the brand name of the product and spraying people. LOL

Today is my last day of being home and wondering what it is I am going to do with my self. The last day to putter around the house and play with kitty cats any time I feel, and the last day I'll have to feel like what te hell am I doing with my life. Tomorrow I enter the world of retail makeup sales and although this is not my plan for my career as a makeup artist it is a good stepping stone to getting my career started.
My goals:
1.To learn as much as I can about makeup application
2. Get the tricks to working on all types of skin and faces
3. Keep networking
4. Try to get a gig working on movies, TV and Theater
5. Work on promoting my own business
6. Build a name for my self
7. To Be highly sought after
8. Volunteer at Nursing Home doing makeup
9. Travel to Europe
Ok that's all my dreams and wishes for now. Lets hope my first day tomorrow working will be promising.

LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Today I'm helping my partner film some spec commercials. I'm excited because I am doing special effects makeup and I get to use more complicated techniques. I'll post pict of the shoot when I can.

Today is truly the start of my makeup career. I got a call from Nordstroms to work the Shu Uemura makeup line. I know they are only in the country for a year but this is an awesome opportunity to network, practice on more faces, get a store discount and free makeup. Whoo Hoo!

Want to do more with makeup

Today is shopping with friend and model to find perfect french inspired costume. I personally am looking for a magic top hat. Yesterday I found some amazing makeup inspiration and I'm truly looking forward to being more creative with makeup. Photo Taken By Saskia Marie Makeup by me.

After filling out all the right online paper work, which took hours! I sit and wait. Wait for that call. Wait to hear if I finally got the job. My first makeup gig with a major department store. Waiting waiting.
So what do idle hands of a makeup artist do? I play with makeup and look for mew and exciting looks to do at the next photo shoot.

I love the sun on my face

But my face does not agree and says if your going to look directly at the sun 

wear sunglasses and sunscreen. Save your skin & sight.

Going to look for little packets of sun screen to put in my pockets and in my

bike pack.
 

Today is going to be my first step into my a career as a Makeup Artist.
By calling back the HR department at a local department store I will be making the next move to securing a position as a Makeup Artist.
This is a scary step for me.
